My work often focusses on the interior spaces of memory as they might appear when given wings, voices or legs. The forms range from mundane to distinct, pulling in figures and objects from everyday life but putting them in strange perspectives and viewing them in through new lenses. Humans sit quietly behind barbarous masks, surrounded by animals; hallways are cluttered with furniture and memory; landscapes emerge from abstraction. They are contemplations of interior complexity.
