For many years a professional photojournalist, always a lover of photography, I now like to play with photographs- my own, and the timeless photos of strangers I’ve collected in my 40 years as a photographer and artist. I create them, color them, copy them, glue them, write on them, burn them, and sometimes, just leave them alone.
My wildly divergent interests are represented in my work/ play. Subjects have included everything from the artistry of an Inuit/West African circus troop, to the quiet beauty of E.B.White’s Maine. Current projects include photographing urban Waltham, MA, and making portraits of strangers, seeing in every one of them, a part of me.
